Odyssey of the Stars honors outstanding University of Montana performing and visual arts alumni and tells the story of their artistic journeys, showcasing the many different roads to success that an artist can travel. Odyssey features some of UM's finest student performers and artists. The production, held annually since 2001, supports the College of Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship Fund. Since its inception, Odyssey of the Stars has funded scholarships for 408 visual and performing arts students at The University of Montana. This year's show honors Missoula-based and internationally acclaimed visual artist Nancy Erickson '68. Nancy's striking, large-scale constructions that feature paintings and drawings, explore nature and human interaction, while celebrating life as a community.
