Academic WorldQuest is a team game which challenges competitors' knowledge of international issues in geography, history, current events, culture and more.

AWQ competitors include high school students in four-person teams, competing for the opportunity to represent Montana at the National AWQ Competition in Washington, D.C.

Montana students placed second in the nation in 2007 and fourth against public, private and charter schools in 2009.
