UM Associate Professor of anthropology Ashley McKeown will present a lecture titled "Skeleton Keys: Unlocking Jamestown's Mysteries with Forensice Osteology and Bioarchaeology."

McKeown’s research on early 17th-century burials at Jamestown is part of the Smithsonian Institution exhibit “Written in Bone: Forensic Files of the 17th-Century Chesapeake.” She held postdoctoral fellowships with the Jamestown Rediscovery Archaeological Project, the Virginia Institute of Forensic Science and Medicine, and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History.
