| Description: | The World Affairs Council of Montana will host a community Distinguished Speakers Program with Genevieve Chabot, co-founder of the Iqra Fund and Ken Patterson, global grassroots manager at RESULTS. Chabot and Patterson will discuss their experiences fighting poverty with microfinance, global health and education in countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan and Niger. Their presentation will highlight the importance of education for girls and will also outline how to get involved in RESULTS. Additional Public Info: Free and open to the public. |
